This is the homeschool blog I've been regularly fantasizing about creating but don't have time for. ;)

Fifth shorty, born in October, 2009. He's a fat little baby that's into fat little baby things like breastfeeding, laughing at his family, and shoving everything into his mouth. He's also very cute & sweet.
Welcome to our homeschool blog!

The name of your homeschool and the accompanying photo are just stunning. Wow.
And you have wonderful quotes down the right sidebar. Great links - everything. I am really looking forward to your posts. Will you be using Ambleside Online?
You are off to a breathtaking start!

I have always felt the above quote. I can't wait to read more! You rock!
POTF & Donna, darn Blogger didn't send me a message that anyone had commented in here! I didn't know anybody had actually looked at my brand new baby blog. It is a work in progress! :)
POTF, thanks. :) I look forward to my posts, too. haha. I have concocted them in my mind, and I have been taking pictures of our homeschool days to put in here sometime. I don't think I'm very great at time management. Or something. I mean, I see people like you guys who have a whole buncha kids, animals, projects, home businesses, etc. & you still manage to get online & be articulate & I just don't know how you do it!! :)
Although I am relying heavily on AO, I can't say we're following it. I am using many of CM's ideas like narration & copywork, plus trying to relate things to each other instead of educating in blocks of "separate, unrelated" subjects. We also have a nature notebook & a book of centuries going which is fun. :) I chuckle because after all these years of homeschooling I feel like I should have a *plan*. Like, I should have some perfectly structured, organized home school schedule & favorite curriculum instead of feeling all scattered & unsure much of them time. When I mention this to people though, many of them relate so I guess I'm not completely alone, lol!
donna, I'm glad you agree. :) When we're on our deathbed what would we rather be looking up at, our store bought possessions & impressive bank statement or the faces of our kids? Ahhh, bein' a mama is pretty awesome.
:)
I love this picture! My hs was named Fair Moon...but my 4 yar old is so high energy I couldn't do it. I probably could but I am taking a break after getting my DD graduated and in college.
